Vietnam Video

The Vietnam war was the first televised war.

Vietnam was under the Ho Chie Men rule.

America was paying 80102140f the cost in the war.

The end for the Fremch lost at Dien Bien Fu and surrendered. It has the same effect on ths French as the Tet offensive did on the American.

Saigon only  had an upper and  lower economix classrs ...no middle class.

During the 1967's almost half of all the soldiers that fought were brought in.

The vietcong were violent.
6 CBS Employes were beaten after they had been captured.

The boldest Vietcong move was at Huey City.

Chemical gas was used for defence at the embassy.

Vietnam oboe has 1 main road to Huey City.

Khe Sahn-Was supplied by air which ended up buy

45,000 were killed by the Viet Cong during the war.

Many American soldiers were becoming rebels and would even get high by smoking marijuana through a shotgun.

Well over 50& of the soldiers in Vietnam used marijuana.

The combats trrops had more insight into the war than anybody else.

The North Vietnamese were generally more successful because they were braver and stronger than the South Vietnamese.

There was great question as to if the Americans should go back and risk trying to help the prisoners escape.

“Men who are close to death, are close to each other”

The Americans were forced to attack areas with women and children that lived in the area.

More than 7 million tons of bombs were dropped on Indo-China during the Vietnam war. It was more than all of the bombs in World War 1.

More than 10,000 citizens were wounded or hospitalized during the first 3 months.

An estimated 100,000 Vietnams citizens were wounded during the war.

The Vietnamese had many people willing to kill themselves for the war.

1,300 Americans went missing.

Many prisoners were released.

Vietnamese president “CHU” abandoned his country. Many Vietnamese wanted to board the American helicopters. American soldiers were left as they were able to to get off a plane to help other up, but not ablt to get back on due to maximum occupancy. People rode on the wheels, ladders, and cargo spaces of the plane. There were an additional 208 people inside th plane.

Over 1,500 people lines up outside of the embassy.

The Century 1970

In the 70's America expected everything to go smooth.

The previous generarion becanse known as Generation X and the next known as the babyboomer generation.

Kenedy had just had the top removed from the car that otherwise would have protected him...Not a conspiracy

People from the opposing party cheered at the assassinatioj if Kenedy and were attacked.

Martin Luther King speeches

Blacks could register to vote on certain days with help of the approval from a white person.

Blackpanthers were somewhat violent.

Malcon X Seperatist
Martin Luther King was effective with confronting the enemy, Malcom X did not make any progress.

Black Panthers were formed in Oakland, CA.

1965 Watts Riots

1965 Rolling Stones Came In

San Francisco was the carefree city.

Women were given more control with birth control pills.

Airline attendants were dismissed on their 30th birthday.

The Century 1970

The police would beat people during the riots and protest.

Injuries and beatings werenxommon among the protest.

Most of the upper class did not fight in the war.

Johnson decides not to run in 1968.
April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King I'd assassinated.

Kennedy gets elected in 1960 after he announced the death of Martin Luther King at Annapolis.

The Assassination of Kennedy was the first incident of terror by Islam.

1968 Hosted a violent Democratic National Convention

The democratic party attacked itself.

Nixon won his election by 48 states.

Richard Millhouse Nixon

The Simpsons got "Millhouse" from Nixon.

During the Eisenhower administration Kennedy was the guy who could attack the other party.

In 1969, there were still many riots.

People walked around the presidential ignaturation with communist flags from Vietnam, China, and Cuba

November of 1969; 700,000 people were opposed to the war.

When America goes into Cambodia, protest across 350 college campuses are attacked or rioted.

58102140f Americans agreed that during the riots, National Guards had the right to fire when attacked or the crown could not be controlled.

Simply sitting down at the counter made an activist stand for the
Greenboro stand.

In the early 1960's most activist were young.

The cold war last from 1945-1989.

Nixon and Kenedey pushes for anti-comunism. Nixon seems to work harder.

In 1960 the first ever Presidential debate is held between Kenedy and
Nexon. It is produced by Don Juett of 60 minutes, and brodcasted on tv.

Nixon was the first President to appeae on tv for Bay of Pigs invasion.

In 1960 the Soviet built the Berlin wall.

October 13, 1962 Kenedy gives a speech on how low the minimum wage
income is. At the same time America begins the 13 days of the Cuban
Missle Crisis. The President the decides to blockade Cuba.

The beging of track housing.

There were many couples.

Most shows were filmed live.

The shows were not very good.

In 1950 75% of Americans had a tube,

Band Stand was a dancing show that Elvis sang on and Bunny Gibson
danced on.

Ed Sullivan considered Elvis to be "Down and Vulgar". He thm booked
Elvis for his show in the Ed Sullivan Theatre. Modern day David
Letterman

1945 Rosa Parks staged the Birmingham bus boycot.

Her pastor Martin Luther King Jr. encouraged this among the community.

381 days later on November 13, 1956 the city ended the bus segregation.

The Russians beat America into space with the Sputnic. It can
physically be seen in the sky as the ultrasonic beep can be heard from
above.

Nixon mentions that they have better rocket thrusters but America has
color tv and decidees to invite the Russian leader to America.

For the first time, Americas realizes television had a bad side.

So I have as far as I know made both the first post ever from Iphone Notes on my other blog (link coming later). I am not sure that anybody has ever really thought of using the iPhone Notes Email feature combined with Bloggers Email to post feature...username.blogaddress@blogger.com

10. What was it that caused the United States to attack Saddam and Iraq?

11. Why was it so difficult to prove Saddam had weapons?

14. Why was the world expositon so important to the inovation of 
America?

15. What was the main goal or purpose of building the Ferris wheel 
from the fairs perspective?

1. No, only if the states that were just joining or were to rejoin the 
Union were not to have slaves. It just made slaverly illegal.

himself and saw what needed to be done.
