Bird Flu Outbreaks Globally

Many countries are getting concerned about the bird flu virus (influenza A virus) as it is now spreading globally; some could say that this is the next pandemic. From chickens to swans, birds to humans; the virus can be known to have the strength of a bio-terror weapon in areas where there is an outbreak. The virus has made its way around the world and hit some countries with a large number of infections. Europe has found that many swans that are becoming infected. Down in Nigeria, Africa, locals must be cautious that their chickens do not become infected. It may be especially important to watch out for infected birds in areas where many foods are made using raw eggs because the virus can be transmitted in uncooked or raw foods. Outbreaks areas have also been found in China and Japan just recently. Technically I can't say that the virus was just found in Japan because it has been around for years, but there haven't been any really large outbreaks. The real scare would be for the virus to get as out of control as the pandemic of 1918.
