Michael Schiavo, past husband of Terri Schiavo just got married to Jodi Centonze. The family of Terri was probably a bit upset about him getting married because he fought against the family for years to pull the plug on Terri. Terri went into this persistent vegetative state at the young age of 26, after she collapsed from hypoxic encephalopathy in 1990. She remained in that state until March 31, 2005 when she died after 13 days of no food or water. Michael Schiavo says, "Except for the fact that the world knows their name, it was like any wedding you've ever been to". Terri Schiavo was married to Michael for about 11 years. Michael's wedding was a private wedding with about 80 people there. Jodi Centonze was already somewhat dating Michael while Terri was in a nursing home. The couple already had two kids.
