The North Vietnamese had planned a strong offensive on Tet. They were able to use the sound of firecrackers to help quite and blend the sound of their guns.

The fighting agaist the North Vietnamese were attacked by Americans and Saigon locals.

No Northern Vietnamese never got into the Embassy when they tried to attack.

The Geeva convention allowed for Spies to be killed if they were caught.

The city of Cholan was filled with many street fights.

Hue City was not defended in any way because no one had expected such a cultural center to be invaded. 

The battle of Hue City was the worst city fight America had had up until Fallajuah.
