Journey of the Hajj

Every year the hajj attracts millions of people. It is a time for Islam's pilgrims to come together and pray celebrates their pilgrimage. The hajj is mandatory to go to if you can afford it. For some people, being able to afford the journey means taking a walk to Mecca. For others this can mean packing up the family and taking a plane ride. During the hajj no visitors from other nationalities are allowed into Islam. With permission from the Saudi government, and a male relative, a woman is allowed to take the journey with other women. This other male relative can be younger than the woman or a non Muslim. The hajj is know too many people as the greatest journey ever.
